So, I've tried Primal, Coracle, and Satellite. So, these are just different clients all essentially doing the same thing just formatting things differently? Maybe some have lighting functionality and some don't. Is that about right? Is #Damus consider the crowd favorite? #asknostr #grownostr #introductions starting to figure things out day by day.
Kinda. There’s just too much to go through in a single reply.
Go to https://www.nostrapps.com/ on a desktop and look at all the different ways to interact with nostr.
I will do that. Thanks for the reply!
What get alby alternative should I use? I could not get alby to work.
I couldn't get Alby to work either but I got the lighting wallet working when Primal.
Yep. Me too. However, I am looking for the best nsec sign in thing so I can just get signed in on any #nostr client.
Try nsec.app works with many web clients
I use npub.cash you can go there and either create yourself a name, or use your npub as your username.
You copy the lightning address (looks like an @npub.cash email address) and save that into your profile as your lightning address.
Whenever you get zapped, you'll get a notification and whenever you want to withdraw the funds to your own wallet, you can follow instructions on the site to get funds to your own wallet.
I typically use Phoenix Wallet for my personal bitcoin lightning wallet.
Damus was one of the first iOS clients afaik. Originally had zaps but Apple didn’t play ball but there is a work around. Zapping a profile and not a post. I think primal found a way to integrate zaps better
gotcha, thx you. I'm on Android.
Ah ok, amethyst seems to be the go to for Android but i think @jb55 is working on Damus for Android
Sweet. I will give Amethyst a try. Thank you!
