Google with PGP is safer than using your service.

-Private keys with passphrase on user's computer - not on your server;
-Encrypted Subject - not as on your service unencrypted!
-Free POP3 or Imap protocol - on your service even using paid plan user has no access to these protocols without additional software.

Your walled garden is worse than Google's.
