Because it was awful atmo m8, the album art oversold that bullshit by miles, come on. Iโ€™ll check your link when I get home but really, Cult of Luna pissed me off with that shit. Beautiful art, so totally underwhelming music that didnโ€™t really mesh with the art. Before you say the artโ€™s irrelevant, picture this: itโ€™s the window to the world that represents your music. Itโ€™s an important part of the experience.

 Fair enough I can sorta see what you're getting at and imo the albums after do represent the art better than eternal kingdom but I still do think that eternal kingdom is a great album
But at the same time you don't already know about Sumac which is a little concerning
