Thanks for the infos. Proxmox is basically debian, I mean, installing KDE or so shouldn't be a problem. Next weekend I'll try at first the proxmox setup, especially interested in performance of the VMs, when using in browser of the same host. And most probably, it will not be satisfying for a desktop computer setup, so can install qubesos.
Last time I tried QubesOS, several years ago, I was basically using one vm 99% of the time. Do you use the proposed vms? I suppose networking setup doesn't require a rocket science degree...

So lets try #Proxmox on a freshly installed #debian 12 with #KDE.

 Status update:

- after first install of #proxmox on a #debian 12 with #kde, had to reinstall it 3 times. At the end w/o kde. Well, 3 monitors and a graphic card are idle... will try to install kde on top and hope not to blow it up again.

- testing vms... debian with @umbrel and just Bitcoin Node and Nostr Relay for backup... GREAT!!! such easy setup (could have save me days of config)

- proxmox setup is quite easy... hardening will be slightly harder 😅

 many thanks to @scsibug
I blew it up... no time to fix. Back to pure #debian. (next week, I'll try #qubesos)
