We've been hatching so many new Nostriches over the past week. Bitcoin Atlantis was a complete hit in more ways than one. šŸ’œšŸ¤™šŸ»šŸ«‚

If you like to welcome new Nostriches, you can follow the #introductions hashtag or you can add the welcome.nostr.wine relay to your list and configure your global feed to only use that relay (not all clients support this).

Go get'em!

 Well done Derek

I'm just a dude talking about about decentralization and censorship resistant communication šŸ„¹ Thank you.

This is true, but I saw @Katie Ross say goodnight here when you were away. not all costs are upon you, nor are they monetary.
ā–² ā–¼
True. It was hard being away for this long. Thank you.

This is helpful info for a noob. Starting to understand relays. Thanks!
ā–² ā–¼
Relays can be very powerful tools, depending on the client's ability to unlock them.
ā–² ā–¼
So, in an app like Primal. I can see the relays. I can even add the relay you mentioned above but there is a red dot next to it. How do I configure to my global news feed? maybe not supported in this app/client?
ā–² ā–¼
I don't believe Primal supports this. Amethyst, Damus, Snort, Iris, and others do.

What's special about this relay? #newtonostr
ā–² ā–¼
This relay attempts to only show notes from newer profiles, allowing you to easily find and welcome new people. Sometimes false positives do pop up.

@I)ruid and I are pushing forward with an awards program to incentivize EXACTLY this kind of behavior.

How to measure the success of and reward nostr advocates reaching out and supporting new nostriches? Iā€™d love to pick your brain, @Derek Ross for tips.
