I don't think I have my mutiny wallet set up right.  

 Honestly I am pretty lost with this.  I have my own start 9 server running my bitcoin node etc.  but not sure how to get zaps working with it.  

 ok I set up Satoshi wallet.  try again I'm curious if it will work now.
