 that pisses me off, but I also just don't want to work with people who don't know anything. they bring these tokens in and they're not just useless, they're liabilities

 While it does happen they are also often the first to get laid off. 

As soon as someone does a git check on lines contributed perday and see Sally is at .03 and mostly text changes they get gone fast.
