#Plebs, how do you cope if the vast majority of people are completely brainwashed?
Some friends adore #Biden. Some don't, but they hang all their hopes and dreams on #Trump... Kinda sad when adults long for a daddy to take care of them.
And isn't it odd that #Republicans ALWAYS vote for the #Republican candidate, and the democrats do thw same?
Did it just so happen that all the #Democrats happen to find their candidate to be the best, making him worthy of all their votes, all the time?
This is blunt unsophisticated tribalism, not #democracy.
You support your guy, I support my guy, while neither of us really know anything about either guys. But that's ok because we got #Fox and #CNN to tell us what to think...
Introduce them to open-source in general. That is a less big barrier.
i would say that it is "confirmation bias" mainly, and sadly it happens in every field... not only in politics... it is part of the human nature i guess, we all hang around with people that shares our mindsets... i quote the Wikipedia: "Confirmation bias is insuperable for most people, but they can manage it, for example, by education and training in critical thinking skills."
