I love the LN marketing on nostr but what's being built for liquidity management and first time receives without on-chain costs? 

 For non-custodial LN wallets, liquidity ads and the LSP spec are liquidity management solutions (realized in code such as https://github.com/lightningdevkit/lightning-liquidity and by services such as Voltage and Olympus).

Ark and statechain-based solutions take different approaches.

Yet other solutions such as Fedimint and Cashu, or Cash App and Coinbase, because they're custodial/pooled funds, avoid those challenges altogether.

 Why do you suddenly feel the need to market Lightning for a network in which 99% of the people love Lightning already and are constantly zapping?

 No, it was an honest question because the timing felt odd. 

 Oh, well I don't think the point that LN has found product market fit as the open payment protocol has been discussed hardly at all, so I wanted to start the conversation. The fact LN is enabling nostr zaps is super cool but not in and of itself a demonstration of it being the open payment protocol. It is the emergence of Fedimint and Cashu e-cash systems that largely demonstrate that LN is becoming that as well as Ark and statechains support for LN as OPP. 

 Product-market fit would require LN to have users, no? 

 But sure, LN has been thought of as the network that integrates multiple custodial services and layer 2s for many years now. I don't know if this is a new insight, but I may have misunderstood you. 

 Would you say that only Bitcoin L2 solutions can be countenanced? Or could there be other secret sauces? 

 The secret sauce I refer to is LN as the connective tissue or glue between systems. I'm asserting it is unique in its ability to instantly settle payments between disparate systems. 

 Yes! People who claim Lightning is dead or doesn't work just don't understand where and how it fits into an entire model. My game would not work without Lightning. There is no blockchain that would allow in game transactions at the speed required without it running on a local node.  The corrorary of this is that any new solutions and L2s have to integrate with lightning to have any relevance.
