When you send private zaps, the zap shows on nostr but only you and recipient can see who sent it. There are also anon zaps, and with those not even the recipient can see who sent them. I know at least Damus and Snort support them. Maybe amethyst too. 

 I just zapped your note twice from Damus. Once with a private zap and I added a note “private zap” to it. The second one I sent as an anonymous zap and I added a note “anonymous zap to it.”

 Good question. I would assume should be visible from sender’s site with the nsec 

 It appears so. When I check Fabian’s profile on nostr.band these are the two zaps I sent him. One was private and one was anonymous. Nostr.band just displays them as unknown sender but has the correct amounts shown.
