@Parker Banks @Semblance if the government takes control over food production it'll be like the soviet union- farmers will deliver their harvest under armed guard to the state. inner party members will live like kings and everyone else will fight for the scraps

and if you're caught stealing food, go to a gulag i guess 

 @woodland creature :pleroma_fox_tan: @Semblance My in-laws grew up under that. All cattle belonged to the government, so my mother-in-law's father would butcher cattle in the night, grind up the meat and mix it with pork, and bury the carcass so the government wouldn't find out.
