I **really** want the duckduckgo browser for Linux. Since that doesn't exist, does anyone know of another browser with a similar mechanism as their burn button with the ability to make select sites burn-proof? I'm using Vivaldi and am generally happy, but I really appreciate that burn feature.
@f29919fc I just started using DDG Browser on Android and I really wish it had FFs reader mode for reading articles; DDG tends to render everything in desktop so I either have to read it tiny or scroll around non-stop after zooming in. Good luck with your search.
@f29919fc I may be missing something (just installed DDG browser to make sure I'm not too far off) - but would this FF setting not yield the same results (except closing FF instead of pressing the 🔥 button) https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/111/133/194/448/178/505/original/863d6fff1de0caf1.png
@f29919fc IDK about a burn button, but firefox has an option to clear site data when closed, you can add exceptions to that. I imagine you can do something similar with Vivaldi. You can also containerize different sessions with the "Firefox Multi-Account Containers" extension to create a container, do the stuff you want to do, then delete the container. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=featured I know this isn't exactly what you want, but hope it helps
