The Tory council in Plymouth felled trees in the city centre under darkness so the public couldn’t stop them. Sheffield council felled many of their trees too. A standing stone nearby was deliberately dug out and set alight (I question the intelligence of these people who think they can set a stone on fire).

Considering how the govt does everything it can NOT to promote nature and protect the environment, it doesn’t surprise me.
