i support this
who said that we should all choose blocks deemed adequate by the C++ developers of Bitcoin Core?
now, i don't feel like i have the time to do the trawl but if this nonsensical bullshit about how not relaying transactions keeps up i'm gonna read the entire text of Satoshi and start quoting him where he talks about how it is *expected* that nodes will make their own *individual* decisions about what they want to relay and how this will have only a *minor* but not trivial effect in that it will add latency to broadcast of transactions such as ones with no fees, ones with huge witnesses, ones with attached JPEG files
it doesn't make much difference really, except it sometimes will make room for a shitload of low fee transactions to clear and it's trivial for someone to do this
it usually will only matter for mere seconds but you never know when a block is gonna come and not relaying the trash can sometimes allow one or two nasties to miss the boat and have to wait for next time
if you don't give a fuck about people using bitcoin for small payments or not paying big fees, well, by all means, DON'T ADD FILTERS TO YOUR MEMPOOL
but if you care about that few seconds that might see someone's 5 week stuck transaction in a heavy period clear
just fucking stop making it seem like anyone who cares to do something is doing something bad
it's fucking boring
it's trivial, it's a gesture, mostly
but it will sometimes make some people happy at the expense of morons
one more happy person versus one unhappy asshole is worth it
Its theirs node. They can do what they want. If they want to PIMP theirs ride add create eventually another chain. They can ?
You run bch script on you node ? you run ltc script on your node ?
*let people be free or make a better illustration * XD
