So I watched a few documentaries about the pirate bay. It's a bit sad that the founders didn't really benefit from it. Although they never expected to make any money from it anyway. Their funding came from an eccentric millionaire, and their site design was extremely simple light and efficient. I see some demand for torrents here. #soulseek and #ipfs mentions. Perhaps relays can function as a tracker? Piracy and torrents are a more fascinating case of a p2p software triumph compared to crypto. People would seed for no reason aside from acting against Hollywood Juden. Behind the noble slogans is just a simple desire to consume media for free. Is it relevant? I find only a tiny number of big budget productions interesting these days. Maybe there's a good movie once a year. So torrents don't even matter when there's nothing interesting to download.
There's a good new movie once a year? That seems like a high estimate. 😜 I have given up on expecting any quality from Hollywood. They have lost the art of storytelling.
Too many sequels. They play too safe. A24 is okay though
