Yup, I'm looking for the UI that allows for that kind of filtering while still being very enjoyable to read. 

Imagine Jordan Peterson posting something. 
First, you'd wanna see some high signal replies.
Then, you join a conversation that was started by one of them. 

For a conversation need minimum two people  👉  It starts at level 2 of the reply tree.
