I normally have a nice mix of working from home and in office days. This week I was in office 4 days and two of those were all day meetings.
Tonight I am longing for a hobbit hole, a fire by the hearth, rain, and a good fantasy book
Watchu readin?
I'm on book 10 of Wheel of Time. It's a little slow tbh (book 1 was my favorite of the lot).
Also working my way through Silmarillion.
Contemplating starting a new Brandon Sanderson series or finding a new author
I started the silmarillion about 2 times in my life, never finished it.
I'm reading Harry Potter (not my favourite) to my daughter, The Hobbit will be next.
Hobbit is amazing and Narnia was awesome with the kiddos
I recommend this trilogy for when you finish Wheel of Time and The Silmarillion.

Lesser known fantasy with complex plot involving 2 complementary magic systems, a huge conspiracy, very powerful and smart antagonists, lengthy flashbacks and stories-within-stories...and time travel.
It's the author's first series and could have used a more stringent editor but the ride it takes you on is well worth a few minor flaws in the prose.
Thanks, I think I bought the first audiobook at some point. May start it 🤙
coming back to this to say I bought all 3 😃
Awesome. Does that mean you finished the first one?
Not yet, but intrigued enough
