It is called "Last Student Standing".  There are dorms, students, classes, locations, and events.  You build a deck .  You get some number of cards in your hand (based on your dorm).  The goal is to graduate.  You are using different students to take your classes for you.  If your GPA drops below a 3.5 you are kicked out of the honors floor.  If you get too many points (for being bad), you are kicked out of school.  You want to graduate.  You play students on buildings and try to get students to classes.  Different students cost different amounts and have different skills.  It is pretty cool.  He has put a huge amount of work into it.  He is even going to get some cards professionally printed. 

 That sounds like a game I would play!  Has he had a chance to play-test it with friends and family?

It's really cool to me how easy it is nowadays to get cards and game pieces custom-made and delivered.  Anyone with a mind to do so can create game prototypes pretty easily with good-looking pieces and cards. 

 He is play testing with friends and family.  He has been for almost 6 months.
