I remember going to NYC for the first time by myself when I was 19yrs old. 
I was super worried about getting pick pocketed.  Same thing when I was 24 and went to Paris. 

Regarding safeguarding one’s Bitcoin stack.  Fk. I don’t have enough Bitcoin that I’m even worth coming after.  

How much Bitcoin is life in prison worth?  How much Bitcoin is getting killed worth? How much #Bitcoin is having to go off the grid looking over your shoulder for the rest of your life worth?  Fk. I don’t know. 

I guess keeping your HODL stack in cold storage with a long time lock on changing the receiving wallet address, and ensure it's secured with a multi-signature setup. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Its not like an atm or bank account where your picture will be sent to law enforcement, and there is no bank to return your transaction so the risk off is different. HOWEVER, a good security system and plenty home artillery in a state that doesn't penalize you for shooting someone in the face for causing you to "feel treatened" are great deterents lol. I suspect the pickings would be significantly better in countries that have already confiscated guns.
