this pic is from a few years ago, I think from one of their "photographer's mornings". we usually go for Dog Days as well, not sure we'll get there this year. seems like they're removing a lot of the stuff we've enjoyed in previous years in lieu of the latest hotness.
@40ceb4c5 Oh, that's unfortunate but I don't think the gardens have ever been appropriately promoted. When I lived and did social work in Parkland County, I visited pretty regularly. The butterflies in the greenhouse were magical.
@cc5f5990 I love the butterfly house! the Muttart needs to build another pyramid and do that. 😀
@40ceb4c5 @cc5f5990 YES!!! It's one of my favourite things about the Calgary zoo - if I lived in Calgary, I'd buy an annual pass just to go hang out with the butterflies in winter. And it's along the C-train line! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE something similar in Edmonton.
