Maybe you're already deep enough down the rabbit hole to recommend some wired headphones with a microphone that does not require to sell a couple BTC to acquire them 

 Not really sure what's best  for wired headsets. 

 Apparently they are not too easy to find - maybe a stand mic and wired headphones would be a better option
