 NASA Reveals Incredible Image of Star Cluster Shining in Ultraviolet. Just outside the Milky Way Galaxy, roughly 210,000 light-years from Earth, there is the dwarf galaxy known as the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC).

Measuring about 18,900 light-years in diameter and containing roughly 3 billion stars, the SMC and its counterpart – the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) – orbit the Milky Way as satellite galaxies. 
 NGC 346 is located within the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC), a dwarf galaxy approximately 210,000 light-years from Earth. This star cluster is notable for containing a significant number of hot, young, blue stars, which are believed to represent more than half of the known high-mass stars in the SMC. The interaction between these stars and the surrounding gas and dust creates one of the most intricately detailed star-forming regions observed to date
