chickens are so hilarious, i can't stop giggling at them when i watch them, or listen to them, and then you come and bring them some scraps or seed or something and they are all so excited, and man, i remember my gf years ago her landlady had leghorns and the way they ran when they were summoned for their daily feeding was so comical 

 The funniest was one year when we had a grasshopper infestation.  We had fun catching grasshoppers and releasing them to the chickens.  They went bonkers trying to eat the grasshoppers. 

 oh yeah, they are all about scritching and pecking and laying the eggs, truly a genius creation

the roosters don't know when to stop talking with artificial light though, but aside from that they make good morning clarions
