 It may be more convenient and therefore more difficult to "do some serious moves to recover that node," but doesn't the ability to make the moves make it technically self-custody?

Self-custody doesn't necessarily mean technically simple or easy. Am I misunderstanding your point?

The node is already running on the user's device, not a Mutiny device. Your claims are inaccurate and you're doubling down instead of admitting it.
