It seems like all you have to do is get a bunch of bot accounts to make fake comments and/or upvote your stuff. You don't even have to simulate anything resembling realistic behavior.

For anyone who doesn't browse reddit logged out, other stuff that hits the front page: sports (r/nba, r/nhl), celebrity gossip, women asking to be rated (r/truerateme, r/amiugly, etc.), r/funny, recent popular video games (currently Starfield and BG3), r/Genshin_Impact (has been consistent for years), etc.
