I asked him not to make personal accusations. Then we did talk details. You were an asshole about it. I'm pretty sure you just caused him to leave the conversation.

Yes, I was purposefully an asshole.

I've come to the conclusion it's a better approach that trying to actually engage in discussions with folks who call people hilariously inaccurate things based on unsupported opinions.
I read the entire thread before I decided to blast away
Why not just laugh rudely at this?
I've seen many try to engage you honestly only to get stuck in a frustratingly cyclical attempt to explain something you have no interest in understanding.
So I laugh rudely.
 @b42b2f3c

This is how he describes himself
"
Long time software developer.
Working on low level systems software and high level languages.
Worried about the rise of fascism.
A proponent of cancel culture, wokism and lots of virtue signaling!
"
He's worried about the rise of fascism, ask him to define or explain fascism.
He supports wokism, cancel culture and virtue signaling.

If he's serious, he deserves to be laughed at.
If not, still deserves to be laughed at, but won't get butthurt.

Btw. Educate yourself about who carries America's tax burden, and how our taxes work before you say things that make you sound dumb, like, we should tax the wealthy more to pay for xyz.

Also learn about the Laffer curve.
It's frustrating seeing people say nonsense.

You want a good tax code?
I'll engage, but if you demonstrate you don't understand the basics, I'll get rude fast.
