I hate that shit. We have to have fun. I have an RTX 4090 and play video games. Could I have stacked more sats? Sure. Do I have a shit ton of fun playing games at 4k max settings tho? Hell yeah. Some of us who stacked when bitcoin was like sub $5k don't really like the fact that we only get a few hundred thousands sats for $200 anymore lol.
To be fair though, cars are a lot more expensive than videogames lol. I want to get some top of the line jetskis but I am still holding out on big purchases like that.
It's the 2021 Michael Saylor crowd all top buyer cope
Yeah, the 2021+ people are def different than 2017 and earlier, in a lot of negative ways
Yeah, it’s because class of 2021 is still waiting for the validation that the aggressive allocation for the last 3-4 years was worth it.

Every other bitcoiner class has gotten that windfall experience…where they’re free and clear of their cost basis by an order of magnitude (or more).

We’re about 6 months post halving…class of 2021 should be a lot less anxious after the rip.

Other hobbies? Golf. That’s about it.
Yeah, looking back that makes sense. I was definitely grinding overtime and stacking my ass off for a good 3ish years back in the day. I kinda forgot about all that I guess. Golf was something I always wanted to get into outside of the driving range which I went to just when my buddies back in the day wanted to. I was always bad though, but not because I hate golf, I just never got into it in a meaningful way.
The cool thing about golf is that the embedded creativity and optionality means you never master it, even if you play your best round. There is always a shot you could have done differently, played the wind differently, hit a putt differently, chose iron instead of driver off the tee.

And you play against yourself - other people too, sure - but mostly against yourself.

Because expectations can widely vary depending on who you are, what your life experience has been, and your level of play - you playing bogey golf might be the equivalent to a PGA tour professional making the cut. Winning a club championship could feel like winning the Masters. Shooting over 100 might feel like Tiger Woods missing a cut.

That damned, little white ball.
That's cool. I guess I get that feeling of playing against myself when I lift weights every morning. Same kinda thing maybe.
Totally feel you! The wait’s been tough, but we’re in this together. Let's stay positive! Those gains will come, and then we can all enjoy some free time on the golf course! ⛳️😊
