 Why is that ? 
 1) Mostly because there is a wallet inside the app now. 

Previously, that element was a step where the user needs to find a wallet and do all the steps needed to configure it. Then come back to Damus to update. 

Having the wallet inside the app has a side effect that you can zap notes without workarounds.

You can argue that zaps are not essential for onboarding, I personally think it is. 

2) Also when you join, you can change the feed to see trending for example until you learn what you want to do. 

3) Primal is available on all platforms, that also makes it easier. 

Problem is, after onboarding, Primal (on web and iOS, didn’t try Android) is a hot mess. 

I’m posting this from Damus because the performance is miles ahead. It’s like driving a Mercedes vs a Corolla.
