Okay, need some input. I have been working on trainlog on and off for a while now. And while everything else works, I simply cannot manage to get a GPS fix. The module is a Quectel L80 and the serial output is parsed with no errors. The fixed satellite count always stays at 0. Today it finally managed to get the current time and date via GPS, which tells me that this module def works. Still no satellite fix.

Has anyone here any experience with this module, am I missing something crucial here?

 @57e9b6fa How long did you leave it powered on? Does the module have a backup battery? I know that with some GPS modules, getting the first fix after a cold start can take tens of minutes.
