 @d776bc84 Absolutely, there is more to this than they are saying. It was a professional felling, and the white paint mark was possibly done beforehand as a marker for later on. Who stood to gain from this? Who had a grudge? It needs more than just an arrest of a 16 year old.

 I had the same thought.  The idea that a kid did this only sounds feasible to someone who has only seen chainsaws in movies.

It's someone who knew what they were doing...but a 16-year-old whose father or older brothers cut trees would have learned.
