Damn. Thats so accurate. Some time ago my son asked me why doorsills, windows, furniture is mostly straight and or square/rectangular. The day before that we have been at my brother in law's house. He lives in an old farmhouse with a big "Diele" (a big living room) and antique furniture with lots of curves and so on.
My son is more creative than logic, and that's why he "saw" it. I did not know what to say besides "I guess it's easier to build like this".
