 Contra the article, I suspect young people were willing to mouth any amount of propaganda if it was likely to lead to a high paying job. (Millenials did).

But they've been rugged by the economy and credential-inflation.

Other than visa-mining, I don't think anyone gets a return on years invested. (Well, Boomers did, and maybe Gen X.)
