so no more back dating notes?
You can back date them, but you can't prove you didn't back date them.

This is a building block for NIP-41 (identity rotation), for when you have your nsec compromised.
Because it will need to be a note/key swap with a verified record to prevent the attacker backdating?
 correct
 Fascinating project. Highly intrigued.
so the nostryfied cannot be used anymore?
 Notary dvm 😂
How does it work? I want to make one!
Make a `kind:5900` with `i` (input) as the event id you want to notarize.

or just do it through vendata.io:

This is AMAZING! I assume using opentimestamps. A few hours to timestamp, though. I'd like to make one that does it immediately.
Yeah, that's just because of the opentimestamp calendars, they are slow, probably because of the current fee environment.

To be clear, the timestamping is sent immediately to the calendar, but the OTS batches them and takes a while.
Excellent. I have something new to build. This is why DVMs are the future. The next step will be:

- immediate attestations
- different price points (e.g. timestamp on liquid etc.)
- timestamp chains (further @pkt ideas such as single-use-seals)
- different DVMs competitng for market share

Love it!
Oh that's such a cool idea! Having liquid stamping with it's low fees and predictable blocktimes would make a very interesting addition to this. Very cool idea!
Yes, and dont forget nostr addresses are taproot addresses with a different prefix. So they work with liquid.
This just blew my mind... I didn't realize that 🤯
Can we do social proof attestation?
How would it work? (but I think so)
But you must leave a single stamp on each event!
Interesting. I need the Khan Academy version of this video or I will just rewatch it multiple times. I’m perfectly comfortable being uncomfortable in the learning process. And want to learn because you never know who might be in power & take away online services.
nostr:npub1t89vhkp66hz54kga4n635jwqdc977uc2crnuyddx7maznwfrpupqwra5h9might be useful for GitNestr at some point, idk
 Far-fuhkin-out! Kudos!
What’s the couple hours wait for? Is it a bidding deadline in DVM?
Calendar server needs to super commit. It only does that every few hours.
 Is this opentimestamps-like?
 It is open timestamps

But more can be done
 👀
 Pablo keeps pushing!

Wow!! This is a big improvement and unique!! Congrats my man!!
This combitation with the date and the blocktime give a real new feeling of time in our reality.
Tasking your live in blocktime could be fun and you could travel back in time even if they decide to change the calendar for what purpose ever. You could travel back to the blocktime where your first kid was born or you married.
 👀👀👀👀
If you don’t notarize, now you note.
 opentimestamp?
