The Signal protocol and the MLS (Message Layer Security) protocol are both designed for end-to-end encryption of messages. The Signal protocol is particularly suited for one-on-one chats and small group. On the other hand, the MLS protocol is more appropriate for larger group. Both can be implemented on Nostr. If you are interested in understanding the basic principles of these protocols, I highly recommend the following two videos: https://youtu.be/7uEeE3TUqmU https://youtu.be/FESp2LHd42U
Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) will also need to be implemented, as quantum computers are starting to break even the most secure cryptographic standards (RSA and SHA, maybe PGP soon).
Through your app, OneSignal collects data such as: Android Advertising ID, GPS coordinates, Country, Name, Cookies.

We haven't started studying the MLS group yet; we're still developing another type of group chat that's simpler than MLS. The MLS spec is over 100 pages long. 🙃 https://messaginglayersecurity.rocks/ nostr:note1qu6hf92ju8esurtt40du6y3tye38jvstyp58tzs89m8mgjjgawpsq4pvdk
