This question is interesting to me. It focuses Bitcoiners to think about where they would/will put there time when work is an option. Having wealth forces you to look at yourself and options a differently. You see if with older people when they retire. What do I do with my time? What kind of person do I want to be now? Do I keep raging or go into zen mode? Zen mode for me, is creative pursuits, an examined life and creating shared memories with the people I hold dear. It's very personal, which cam make it uninteresting to others.

Ragebait is in the "for you" section. Xitter doesn't have to be enraging. Good follows, create lists. Nostr, when it takes over, will have just as much ragebait in the "global" or "trending" feeds. Curate your follows, expand how they comment and who they follow. I've seen plenty of fake imitation profiles here already (one for Jeff Booth created 20mins ago) and the politics is starting to seep in more on the Global.

Twitter is completely broken. I stopped getting notifications of new posts from profiles I follow a week or so ago, and that cut off a lot of my data points for how the ETFs are growing and a few other things that I found interesting. I go there to see if I have any messages from people, then I just close it. Also, the mobile X app refused to let me log in, so I uninstalled it. I just use the browser. Facebook/Meta is COMPLETELY hosed. I once dared to type "Geoforce" into a chat when talking about my graphics card, and their algorithm deleted the message and gave me a warning. Then I dared to say "sigh..." when I was talking about getting that warning, and the algorithm kicked me from the Messager Chat that I had set up for a Group that I had created. We shut the chat down and moved it to Discord, mostly because most of the members were not ready to move to Nostr. Corporate Social Media can jump into a lava lake. I'm not deleting my accounts because most of my friends and connections are still over there, but Nostr is where I spend most of my time. Zen for me is watching the devs chat about what they are building and sharing ideas for them to include. And zapping anything that I enjoy to spread the love.

I'm still pretty new to nostr but it’s mostly been continual Zen Mode after X. I don’t always agree with everything I read but only once has there been someone that soured my mood and they are not able to anymore. I’m sure it won’t last but it could be good to have different modes with apps, like Beast Mode for when you’re feeling feisty.
