I became numb and all the ad noise all around bombing us with buy this and that became a white noise for me. No commercial can sell me anything.
I can relate to this! I used to advertise for my business and I realised I am feeding the machine so I stop! I believe that organically building your audience is much better (my personal take) than constantly bombarding your audience. Yes the commercial does get you the result in short term but what I've learned, it is not sustainable if you do not have unlimited cash like the big companies. ☺️
1000% we are. being bombarded with Bad things on X was a huge realization for me. It "feels" like more bad things are happening but its an illusion created by social Media algorithms. The reason we focus on the negative is because its rare in meat space but so very common in cyberspace.

Hence, I decided to come here on #nostr because there is no crazy algo yet. 🤞🤞🤞 I found a video one time on tiktok about a former marketing agent and she said: "if you keep seeing those type of content, remember who benefits those and the money it cost to push those!" Some people think that it is a conspiracy but after learning about marketing and practicing, shit is real! So yeah, I agree that what we see has more to it that meets our eyes.
its a type of PTSD. not exactly but similar. get numb to it all.
sometimes we shut off when it gets too much and it is a way of coping. however, it is useful in short term but I defo recommend looking into the deep side of it — root cause of the trigger or the emotions. ☺️🫂
