One’s love language is typically the inverse of the way you didn’t receive love as a child. If you were abandoned - your love language will be presence/signs you can rely on your partner to be there for you. If you were made to feel not enough as a child your love language will be to be enough/accpetable. If you were not a priority for your parents your love language will be to be the most importsnt person to your partner. And so it is. Our need to be attached - emotionally bonded will be the last part of our humanity that will get striped away despite how hard we try not to need to be attached. It is what it is. Don’t shoot the messenger.
