@efa2e20e I have no idea if this is a 'live in the woods' thing or not, but have you tried salmon over a cedar plank?

There are probably lots of good videos on it, but I have done this for decades and distilled to this:.

GOOD Salmon, Copper River is VBEST, but all the GOOD salmon is tasty this way.

A nice flat, raw chunk of cedar that will hold a filet, soaked

Sea salt, fresh ground pepper

Grill it or bake it laying on the plank

Squirt lemon and fresh chopped dill to taste, fucking ridiculous
