Petrichor. We can't really turn "freshly rinsed" air into a consumer fragrance, so whenever we smell it, we associate it with what it is, actual cleaner air from rainfall. Senses are interesting. So is scarcity 😉

Gingerbread, freshly cut trees, baby hair. And, for some reason, cilantro is weirding me out but I can't stop sniffing.
it looks like gingerbread and forest is winning in scents....so this might be my first stop in the scent world

In no particular order (and I may come back with more): Hickory nut rind, it’s the smell of the forest for me (other good ones are sweetgum leaf and tulip poplar leaf) Woodsmoke Good fresh coffee Cedarwood Amber Myrrh Osmanthus Bison grass Rose and peony Clove Cardamom All the citruses and their flowers Sunflower Hazelnut Almond Tomato leaf Rosemary Star jasmine Jasmine Gardenia Jujube flower Honey locust pod and flower American persimmon fruit Good vanilla Leather Clay and glaze tend to have a subtle particular smell (not reclaim, which is stinky, but the fresh stuff)
this is like a scavenger hunt list for smells, i have my next mission...find all these and sniff them. i am saving this beautiful and thoughtful list, thank you for sharing
How could I not list tea? 🤦♀️ REALLY good black, green, and oolong teas. Some oolongs could be perfumes in their own rights. Also Narcissus / daffodil and Carolina Jessamine (unrelated but smell similar to each other) Probably lotus flower (never actually smelled one, but some lotus scented teas are beautiful. Others smell awful. Idk what that deal is)

Noted. I love Earl Grey so this will be added to my list. Was it orange and cucumber heavy?
Nope. It was just like the earl grey tone was a bit lifted, cucumber wasn't really traceable. It smells like sweet black tea in the morning. Eould go great with mandarines..how do you call those, dammit😅 Clementines? Those sweet smaller orange things. But I like just this simple smell.
