i like asking people what they're working on
not what their job is or what they do for a living, but what they're learning, building, making, or practicing
i think a good aspiration is to always have an answer to that question if someone asks

That is a fascinating approach. I’ve never liked the “what do you to make a living “ as a good opener to talk to people about who they are. I’m going to try that.
I have a really hard time answering a question like that. I always have 100s of projects bouncing around in my head at once.
