 Now that the Armenian population of Artsakh has been almost entirely expelled, the next thing that Azerbaijani nationalists are calling for is a corridor through Armenia proper, to link up with Azerbaijan's autonomous republic of Nakhchivan, on the west of Armenia.

Many analysts are worried that the EU and USA hasn't done anything to deter Azerbaijan from going further.

 (Artsakh is what the Armenian entity in Nagorno-Karabakh called itself. This political institution is being dissolved. The UN recognises Nagorno-Karabakh as Azerbaijan territory).
 @b870d4c8 Most worrying indeed.

The Dicatorship of Azerbaijan is doing ethnic cleansing of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabach.

But my question is: why should EU and USA do anything?
are they the world's police instead of the UN Security Cuncil?
 @b870d4c8 I have seen no evidence the Armenian population of "Artsakh" is being expelled. They seem to be voluntarily fleeing in fear of maltreatment, not expelled.
After what their compatriots did in the early 1990s, driving out the Azerbaijanis from large areas, that is a reasonable fear, but it isn't expulsion.

Why should we do anything to aid a Russian / American conservative ally?
