Just heard of a scenario in which the Australian regulator in the health care space (TGA) has directed a natural supplement company to take down the testimonials on their website

Our kids have their wellness powder when not feeling great. It works really well

Hundreds of people have posted testimonials saying they had great benefits from taking the product

The TGA is concerned that these people’s opinions “are overselling the benefits” or something like that

What a crazy world… You’re not allowed to promote your business with genuine happy customer feedback

Makes the idea of a free market laughable

That’s absurd! Honest testimonials from happy customers should be celebrated, not silenced.

The idea that regulators can limit people from sharing their positive experiences feels like a direct attack on free market principles.

 Let people decide for themselves
Big wealth has been doing this for years. No shock to me.
Agree that it’s been going on for years. Interesting to see it so blatant
