 yeah, it's no big deal to have a little fuzz, it just gets harder to do the longer you don't 

 I'll go with the beard trimmers first - then the scratchy bit  

 This is the way. If I ever tried to trim down my basement it would take a lot 🤣🤣🤣 

 this thing about shaving the basement is weird, IMO, but trimming it is fine with me

best experience i ever had was with a lady whose thing was using a #4  comb on clippers, and after assessing all the data i'm firmly in that camp... not so short it scratches, not so long it interferes

she was a keeper that one, and i lost her... dammit... i hope i get a second chance

 yeah, if it gets longer than about 1/4" you need to cut it back or it gets slow to razor off

this is one reason why i have in my mind in the future to switch to straight razor because a sharp straight razor can cut even inches long beard off without much extra work

 I did that back in 2020 for the same reason. You can always grow it back.
