The winter jacket I bought for like a cent needs two new snap buttons. Who doesn't know how difficult this is - for me it's a brain surgery during Jumanji game. I have been through a lot, but this, this is INTENSE. https://image.nostr.build/71c351d4f7fffb8010ecdcac9769e69f38cf617cfc6fa36ce3e12af2d68af2c3.jpg #sewing #clothestr
Do you have a link to the tools used here?
It's Prym Vario, I think it's even Czech company🤔 Anyway whatever you choose, go for high quality and pliers, not plastic holders or anything 3d printed. This is good enough, but maybe there's more solid stuff. When it comes to needles, zippers, snap buttons and all that, always buy good and expensive stuff. It's not such a big investment anyway and cheap things will ruin the work and nerves three times over.🥲 https://image.nostr.build/79057f9825562d0cfc690e6f7702d7aad968e4cb6be214fc41fa85f370d5f8aa.jpg https://image.nostr.build/6c6da1e9eba8f152f8a435e3d96f22cd8aa3878de45ef501de3d3bfdba18dff0.jpg
I’m learning how to sew buttonholes right now, don’t give up!
Ufff, never built up the nerve to try that👀😅 My machine has several types of button holes, but nope, too scary 😆
It’s one of the things I’ve been wanting to be able to do for a long time. Its hard for me to learn and remember stuff though, ive had my right temporal lobe and the right half of my hippocampus removed
Im actually giving it a shot tonight since my next door neighbors are having a party and I won’t sleep anyway
Oh my, why did they scoop your brain? (Fantastic Halloween motif by the way.) Keep me posted bout the buttonhole, I'd like to see how ot goes👌
Well I read that wrong the first time... 😂
