This is a little reductionist. PoW gives freedom of trust, not freedom of oppression or intrusion. There are many kinds of freedom and they aren't all solved by PoW.

PoW without privacy is what then?
Just proof of work.... Nothing more, nothing less.

I get what you're trying to say. And I agree, privacy is very important. Bitcoin is not private though, and was never intended to be. The problems it solves are just different. Which is why we've built privacy protecting layers on top of the base layer.
