 Yeah this is what I was thinking. But I was wondering if the common garden snail is the same. Or would be somehow poisonous lol 
 Good point. Some snails are poisonous. The flavor of the snails used for escargot tastes amazingly like butter and garlic (i.e. there is virtually no flavor from the meat).

It would be wise to ID your snails to see if they're poisonous. Who knows, you might find a variety that has a good flavor. 
 I'm not planning on doing this unless absolutely necessary lolol. But thank you:)
