@0f342e77 1. Which "far left" policies of Corbyn did the public actually disagree with? 2. An election that gave the tories and other racist parties 47% of the vote, and 53% to the rejoin side hardly could be considered "resounding". Especially given... 3. The sustained media led attacks on Corbyn, would have made it hard for anyone to get elected. 4. The issue is not whether or not the party is left wing (despite that being Starmer's promise) 1/2
@5ee8143f 1. #Brexit. #Corbyn is a lifelong Eurosceptic 2. It was actually 41% hard/far right & 59% centre left Remain parties. Corbyn led an 80% Remain party. It was always gonna end in tears 3. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Obama was slaughtered by US Media, but he scored a decisive victory. If Corbyn couldn't handle a hostile media, he should never have stood to become leader 4. #Labour have moved on. I'd suggest the far left #Corbynistas do the same. We can't coexist
@0f342e77 and you wonder why the left wing of the party doesn’t trust the starmer regime… you literally said we couldn’t coexist.
@5ee8143f We can't, hence why I'm happy bidding you all adiós amigos & waving you off as you embark on your new far left future elsewhere. #Labour has bigger fish to fry & the #UK to save, & we seriously cannot be arsed with going over the war in Iraq, the Forde Report, the Ten Pledges, & whatever else the #Corbynistas are obsessing about nowadays. I just don't get why you can't all move on & leave Labour alone? Do we need a blanket restraining order to be allowed to campaign in peace? 🤷🏾♂️
