At the age of 30 I still wake up from nightmares that I'm still imprisoned by the public school system... only to realize that I am free.
What do you mean by that?
By the time I was leaving that school they built an annex for freshmen. It was a large circular hallways with classrooms on the perimeter. Kids were only allowed to walk CLOCKWISE around the hallway, and if you walked past your classroom, teachers would monitor the area and prevent you from turning around. They would force you to walk the entire loop back around.
I still have nightmares that I missed so many classes in one subject that I'm going to fail it. Or that I forgot to finish some paperwork and so I got realy close but never quite got my degree.
