I will miss TextMate forever. I will never love any text editor as much as I loved TextMate. It’s that one true love sort of thing, you know? You can’t always keep it but you’ll always pine for it because when it was good, it was perfect. @e2d8748d I worked as a software engineer for almost 30 years and the majority of passionate (but good natured) arguments were developers arguing about their preferred text editors.
@e2d8748d AppleWorks was way better than TextMate. You probably think that makes me "old" and that I should be "put out to pasture". Both are probably true, but it has nothing to do with AppleWorks.
@e2d8748d What happened to Textmate? It’s one of the few good text editors that is accessible to VoiceOver. BBEdit and Sublime are both completely inaccessible and unusable with VoiceOver. Only Textmate and Nova are accessible.
