 A recently exposed United Nations database containing sensitive information was left accessible online, raising concerns about data management and security. The database, which included over 115,000 files related to organizations that partner with or receive funding from UN Women, was not password protected or otherwise access controlled. Security researcher Jeremiah Fowler discovered the issue and alerted the UN, which has since secured the database.
